REAP's 3rd annual Food For Thought event is a harvest celebration that brings together all of the participants in a sustainable local food system: consumers, producers, retailers and chefs. It's designed to raise awareness for sustainably produced food and encourage Calgarians to make more informed daily choices for greater enjoyment and improved health.
As brand new REAP members, the Casel Marché community will be joining this year's festivities! Market 17, Vie Café and Cassis Bistro will be serving bite size samples of local food and J. Webb Wine will be on hand to talk about the many options available when looking for wine produced in a conscientious way: from small family estates and organic vineyards. J. Webb is also behind the bar, serving local beer and wine choices.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Proceeds support REAP.
